• Do you now live in Friuli – Venezia Giulia in Italy or did you at one time live in Venezia Giulia in Italy?
• Were you affected by the border changes at the end of World War Two when Italy and Yugoslavia were partitioned in the region?
• Do you have a story regarding the post-World War II partition of the Julian March?
• Are you from Fiume, Trieste, Istria, Dalmatia, Zara, or Pola? What’s your story?
• Were you affected by the rearrangement of political borders after the Second World War that provoked the Istrian exodus (l’esodo istriano)? 
• Did you leave Italy after the exodus or did you stay?
• Are you familiar with the term foibe?
• Did your family come into contact with Marshall Tito and his forces?
• Did you live during WWII in Istria, Dalmatia or Venezia Giulia?
• Did someone who you know live during WWII and share stories from their experiences in the in this region of Italy with you?

If you answered yes to any of the above questions, you should be a part of this project. The aim of this project is to gather as many stories as possible from Goriziani, Triestini, Fiumani, Quarnerini, Dalmati, Istriani, Zaratini and all others from the Dalmatian islands of the eastern Adriatic coast who have stories to tell. The goal is to gather as many stories as possible from people who lived in the region of what once was Venezia Giulia (Julian March) in Italy.

Without writing down the stories, the stories can become forgotten. Please submit your memory today. What did you, your friend, your family member, etc. experience before, during, or after the Second World War in Italy? How did the boundary changes that took place after WWII change your life? What was your experience in all of this? This can include military experiences, everyday experiences, specific stories, general descriptions of what you experienced. All stories are welcome.
